Jeanette Cajide has over 13 years experience in finance and technology consulting including project management, business development, strategy, and operations.
At Dialexa, Jeanette’s role involved corporate development, which included business development, strategy, marketing and fundraising. When working with a potential client, she helped them define a problem and/or need and work with the Dialexa team to craft the perfect solution. She has served in this leadership capacity before as a junior executive at Accenture delivering technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
Jeanette is a technology entrepreneur and worked with the Dialexa team to create Blurtt, an iPhone app that helps people create a visual statement that expresses a mood, thought or feeling. Blurtt was featured in TechCrunch and named Mashable’s Top 6 Apps to Download for the Week.
Previously, Jeanette worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York where she closed over $4 billion in M&A and LBO transactions and with Goldman Sach’s Special Situations Group where she invested the firm’s capital in early and growth stage software and entertainment companies.
She has a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. She served on the Chicago Advisory Board of Facing History and Ourselves and has a keen interest in social impact and politics. Jeanette enjoys writing and is a contributing writer for The Huffington Post and has been interviewed and featured in articles for TechCrunch, Mashable, MIT Review, Huffington Post Live, BetaBeat, New York Magazine, Bloomberg, Dallas Business Journal and Tech Cocktail. In addition to writing, Jeanette is a ballet enthusiast, an amateur photographer and world traveler.
